Service is great, food is amazing. I love their pulled pork! I've never had anything bad here.

One of our favorite places in Boise. My husband said we should open a franchise in our town, so more people can enjoy it! Lol. Always incredible food.

Good BBQ. Impresivly good BBQ for a state that is known for potatoes. Staff is always friendly and does a good job. Food is priced appropriately for a BBQ place. They have a good selection of BBQ and not BBQ items. Like most BBQ places the portions are good sized.

Fantastic meal served at the bar. Delmonico was great! Great service too!

Beef ribs and loaded mashed potatoes!! The food is always excellent and the prices aren't too high. It isn't a cheap place to eat but it is worth the money. They have some pretty great chicken fried steak too.

Not as amazing as I've heard. Dont get me wrong, it tastes good but it isn't to die for. Also, I ordered a whiskey sour and they made it without egg white. It tasted good, but was not what I ordered. I understand the raw egg white was an ingredient that chose not to use for safety concerns, but they should have told me they weren't going to use it. I would've ordered something else. The horseradish is very good tho!

We've traveled to Meridian a couple of times and ate at the Goodwood there and loved it. Boise's Goodwood did not disappoint! I would highly recommend it! Good Food, Good Service and Great Atmosphere! Definitely Recommend the 2 meat dinners and the ribs. I had a yummy salad and my daughter liked her soup.

The restaurant has a very nice appeal to it with the low lighting and musky interior design. I ordered the Salmon which was cooked well and tasted fine. My family ordered the family platter and BOY was it alot of food! Our server was kind and considerate.

About 14 of our motorcycle owners group met for supper before our club meeting. We were given very good service and our food was great. Everyone in our group said they enjoyed their meal and had no complaints. Everything came to the table hot and fresh and we didn't have a long wait for the food following our ordering. Prices were reasonable and had a good amount of food in the order. Will good there again.

This place is absolutely fantastic would definitely recommend to anyone that loves a nice place and good food the servers are extremely nice and very helpful and very knowledgeable on food items coming back for sure

Wonderful wait staff and hostess greeted us. The food was cooked well and it was hot and was rather quick. The beef ribs were amazing and free of fat and not chewy at all and as a matter of fact, I don't remember having to pick meat out of my teeth. Burnt ends were spectacular and the macaroni and cheese was flavorful. I was amazingly surprised, as I previously formed an opinion of Goodwood which was incorrect but you know what they say about opinions.

I always mean to try something new, but after I tried the brisket salad, I've never changed to something else. Absolutely delicious! They used to have a small or large portion, now it's just one size and seems to be just about right. Great service!

Very good southern style eating. I had a chicken fry with white gravy and mashed potatoes and it was delicious. Portion sizes are quite large so be ready to eat. The wings could’ve been more traditional buffalo flavor instead of BBQ but still some good wings. 8/10 would recommend.

Goodwood is good food. It's a steak house place that serves barbecue. Don't expect trays of meat on butcher paper barbecue, but they have solid flavor with good smoke and color. They also serve a wide variety other dishes such as salad and chicken fried steak. I have had the steak and the family platter enjoyed both meals.

Excellent BBQ food and service. The ribs are sometimes hit or miss, dry some days, perfect other days. The ambiance is great, very comfortable and inviting.. Not too noisy like other steakhouses.

Absolutely the best service I've ever had at a restaurant here in the boise area! The food was outstanding and came out in perfect timing. The restaurant was clean and had a fantastic atmosphere. I can not stress enough on how pleased I was with the service and quality!

Prime rib was very good but the Texas style ribs and a steak were slightly overcooked. Onion rings are massive and ok if you like pancake breading. Dinner salads were very good but a bit pricy. Overall a good place that could have maybe a bit larger menu.Service was as good as it can get and every waiter / waitress went far and beyond their duties. I'll go back and perhaps try the prime rib the next time I get the urge for that.

Service was excellent and food was delicious. Restaurant was clean and the aromas of barbecue were intoxicating. The food was hot which is a big deal for me since alot of place serve lukewarm dishes. Our server was Jake and he took good care of us. Refilled our drinks before we even had to ask and brought our food out in a good amount of time. We will definitely visit again when here in Idaho.

I usually order the Prime Rib, but they were out, so this steak had to fit the bill. It was cooked to perfection (medium), and the loaded baked potato was absolutely wonderful. I prefer Goodwood to Texas Roadhouse. One of the best if not the best steaks in Boise!

I have never been to this place, but wow is it just the best place to eat. It has a nice semi romantic atmosphere and the service is fast and very respectful. The food was well worth the price and the proportion size beats any other place to date for the value. I would recommend it to anyone

Friendly employees (Sarah). Very caring and courteous. Steak a little dry & Overkill on onions taste that was added to the rice pilaf and vegetables. All you can taste is onions and none of the seasonings in the rice pilaf & vegetables. Managers will have a talk with the cook and the prep hands in the back.I will be back. Just because they were very courteous.

I'm vegetarian and would never come here on my own if not for a work luncheons. The service was great everytime I've been here as they've accommodated for me and they were very attentive to our large group. With good food and good service I definitely recommend.

Smoked brisket has a good smoked taste. Staff is friendly and helpful. Service was speedy and attentive. They had our artichoke dip out within minutes of ordering. Prices were reasonable and quality was good.

Always my #1 choice when I’m in the mood for BBQ. Will always love their food. Never have disappointed me with the service.

This place was just okay. The atmosphere was kind of like a BBQ Denny's (busy and loud) and the meat was not very tender. The service was decent but the prices were too high for the amount of food you got. The taste was just average though the BBQ beans were pretty good. We've eaten a lot of BBQ around the west and this is sub par. I'm surprised the ratings are so high; I'm guessing the patrons haven't had much experience with real BBQ.This is probably not a place I would return to.

Food excellent! People friendly. We like Goodwood. Bring a sweater they keep it cooler and dim lighting. service was very very slow. The check took a very long time to get to us.

Busy location, must be the goood BBQ. Cleanand nice looking venue, great staff, attentive server who knew the menu, happy to make accomodations. I enjoyed my lunch there and will stop again next time in town.

This place is always busy, but you don't feel like it when eating here. The servers are great, probably some of the best in the valley. They act like every table is theirs. They clean up plates as they walk by your table, refill water as they walk by your table to get to their own, and will stop by any table needing service. We never wait long for food to arrive. The quality is good and food always tastes right.

Food was amazing, service was amazing, drinks were amazing. Great place to end my vacation. Make sure when you come ask for Edgar.

Family meal for 4 to 6 was very good and more than adequate for the five of us.
